Meet the Captain
Captain Will Birdo has been fishing Southern California since he was old enough to hold a rod. He grew up fishing the various lakes around the area but quickly fell in love with the ocean. As an owner/operator, Captain Will feels great joy by passing along that love of the ocean to others. Whether it's sculpin fishing, or big tuna fishing, time on the water brings a big smile to his face.
The Boat
We run a 2019 Parker 2320 SL equipped with a 300 HP Yamaha outboard to get us to the fishing grounds fast, top of the line Simrad Electronics to find the fish and keep us safe while travelling, two separate Pacific Edge Bait Tanks for over 90 gallons of live bait, Gatorstep marine comfort decking to keep you nice and comfortable while fishing all day, as well as many other amenities.
The Gear
Using the right gear is a huge part of having great success. We pride ourselves in giving our clients the best possible opportunity and that is why we choose to use Seeker Rods with Shimano reels. We also rig all of our rods with Opsin Flourocarbon and Blacktail hooks!
